Things that are happening

An Evening of Dance March 2009

Alessendre Special Needs Dance School

and its

Larondina Dance Company

at

St Paul's School, Lonsdale Road, SW13

Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March

A Moving Experience

The heart-warming qualities of the Alessendre Dance School and its Dance Company have won standing ovations from audiences at Royal Academy of Dancing and at performances in West End Theatres.

The applause came not only from those with interest in Down’s Syndrome but also from members of general public.

The touching appeal of the company stems from a combination of ability and the possession of that very real but elusive and indefinable quality – soul.

So much so-called art today is mere artifice, mere contrivance lacking any real depth of feeling.

The performers, because of their innate sensitivity, are entirely without guile and lack any element of posturing.

What you see are unselfconscious dancers striving their utmost to be the very best they can be.

It is a moving experience.

Tickets can be bought at the door on the day between 5.45 and 6.30
